Kitesurfing in South Africa

Kitesurfing is right now one of the most popular sports around the world. Kitesurfing is a rather difficult skill to master. First few days you usually only involves learning to fly the kite, before you even get near to standing on a board. It’s tough sport and you will need strength, fitness and a good deal of coordination. It usually takes about a week for beginners to get to the stage where they can actually kite-surf. Kite rentals are available from big brand schools and shops in almost every known kiting location in South Africa.

Kiteboarding in South Africa offers you some of the most beautiful locations you will ever see. We think that the best place to start learning or growing your skills in kitesurfing is Cape Town with view at the spectacular Table Mountain. A season from October to March is the best part of the year to learn kitesurfing in South Africa – is blowing almost every day.
